Youth Ministry

7th &  8th Grade Confirmation Class

Confirmation classes meet on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 7:00 - 8:15 p.m. for our students in the public school system. Confirmation is taught during the day for the children who attend Trinity Lutheran School. These classes instruct students through an in-depth study of the Lutheran faith as taught in "Luther’s Small Catechism." Students successfully completing Confirmation will be received into the Lutheran faith through the Rite of Confirmation. Please call the church office if you have a 7th or 8th grader who needs to sign up for Confirmation classes.

JAM (Jesus and Me) for 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Youth

This group meets the third Sunday of the month at 4 p.m. either at the church or on a fun youth outing. This is a chance for young people to have fellowship, discussions, and friendship building activities. Watch the Youth Page in Cross Currents for upcoming events.

LYF (Lutheran Youth Fellowship) for High School Youth

This group meets the third Sunday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the gym and Youth Room. LYF includes informal discussion and applying God’s word to real life. Games and other fun activities are also involved. High School youth also plan monthly events such as social retreats, service projects, and trips. Puppet Ministry

• 9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings

This group shares the Good News of Jesus Christ through puppet presentations at church services, community centers and area nursing homes. All ages are welcome.
