Family Life Resources

JC Parent Zone - parenting resources from a Christian perspective

Starting January 2012, we, Trinity Lutheran Church and School, are embarking on an intentional path of prayer through the emphasis, “Lord, Teach Us To Pray.” Family Life Ministry would like to provide you and your family a calendar that serves as a resource for growth on the lifelong JOURNEY of prayer.

Acts 10:2

On this JOURNEY, you have a chance to try new ways of approaching prayer in your home! Home, by the way, is not necessarily a structure, but rather, where your heart is. There are so many ways to talk to the Lord and we pray that the various prayer challenges, ideas and methods mentioned in here encourage you along the way!! I, along with the Family Life Ministry Team, am excited to be on this prayer-filled adventure with you! Enjoy the JOURNEY!

Right from the Start: A Parent's Guide to the Young Child's Faith Development By Shirley Morgenthaler

Right form the Start helps you discover how young children learn and the countless ways your interactions teach about God and His love. In addition, Morgenthaler offers new information about brain development and worship and an extensive resource list. Appropriate for individual use, discussion material in each chapter expands Right from the Start for a group setting.
