WINTER WEATHER

Looking out the window at the RAIN falling at the time of this writing, makes this portion of the newsletter seem unnecessary however it is likely that there will be winter weather at some point during the school year.

When that happens, we want our parents to be prepared for school closings and early dismissals if necessary. To that end we will use the following communication methods during this school year.

Direct Notification: as mentioned in the past two newsletters we will be using a direct notification system that will send a message directly to your home phone, cell phone, and email in the event of school closing. We will use the information that is provided in your Fast Direct profile so it is extremely important that all information in Fast Direct is up-todate.

Local Media: We will notify the following local TV and radio stations in the event of early dismissal or school closings: Radio: WJBC (1230 AM); WBNQ (101.5 FM); WBWN (104 FM); WCIC (91.5 FM). Television: WEEK Channel 25 & WMBD Channel 31
