June 2012 LWML District Convention in Rock Island
Mildred Renken, district president, needs to know how many would like to take the bus. Pick up Friday in Bloomington, and return Saturday around 5:30pm. Dorcas Circle needs our old or used, any size—clean—blankets and mattress pads to use as quilt middles for Lutheran World Relief. They have plenty of tops and bottoms, but not enough middles to make quilts used around the world not only as covers for sleeping, but also as coats or even as shelters. Please help. Bring your blankets and pads to room 148. You are also welcome, but not required ., to help tie quilts any Tuesday morning! For more info, please call Joyce Bishop, 828-2779.
