As a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, our school has for over 150 years, strived to serve God by serving His children and their families. Trinity's mission is to develop well-rounded, lifetime Christian disciples. Our love for Christ energizes us to fulfill this mission by offering a high quality educational program that balances the spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of children in Preschool through 8th grade. |
TLS is a nationally accredited school whose curriculum also reflects a well-rounded approach. Our areas of study include the core subjects of language arts, math, reading, science, and social studies as well as physical education, art, computers, choral music, and instrumental music. This curriculum is built on a foundation of love for Christ and therefore also includes religion class and memory as well as an opportunity for our students to worship in chapel every Wednesday.
Our school also offers a variety of extra-curricular activities to support a well-rounded education. This includes a range of athletic, fine art, and scholastic extra-curricular opportunities. Our relatively new building (2003) supports our educational and extra-curricular goals by providing plenty of space both indoors and out.
