Church Center Introduction
Trinity Lutheran has transitioned to a new membership database from Shepherd’s Staff to Planning Center. Along with this new database, we will be using their app called Church Center to:
Check-In to worship,
Give electronically,
Register for events,
View the church Calendar,
and Access an online church Directory.
We will be introducing these features gradually over the next few months.
Our initial focus will be on using 2 features – the Directory and Giving. To that end, we would ask that you:
Access the current profile we have set up for you and make any updates
Opt in to the Directory
Register for online Giving
Transitioning your electronic giving to the Church Center platform
Trinity has changed its electronic giving platform from our current provider, Vanco, and is using Church Center. In this transition to Church Center, we are asking you to cancel your giving account with Vanco and set up your electronic giving through Church Center.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESS VIA SMARTPHONE
(If you would rather use a computer please jump to HERE)
Download the free Church Center App on the App Store or Google Play
Once the app is downloaded search for Trinity Lutheran. The church address is 801 S. Madison St, Bloomington, IL 61701
You will see us listed as “Trinity Lutheran Madison Campus”. Click on “Next” to continue.
Enter you mobile phone number (it may also ask for your email address)
A 6-digit code will be sent to your phone or email, enter it when prompted.
If you do not receive a code or are unsure of the phone number/email we have listed for you, please contact the church office for assistance.
Click on the profile you want to log in under.
It will ask you for your email address if you don’t already have one listed
Click on “Profile” to verify your contact information.
To verify your contact information, click on the person in the top right corner then click on your name.
You will be able to see the email, phone number, and address we have for you. If anything is incorrect, you will be able to update the information.
You can also update grade and school information or marital status and anniversary.
If there are others in your household, you can click on “My Household” and update their information as well.
If we have an email address for you, we will send you an invitation to opt in to the online Directory.
To opt in to the Directory
From the home screen, click on the person in the top right corner, then click on My Directory Settings. Note: The directory can only be accessed by those in Trinity’s database who log into Church Center. You can choose to share as much or as little of your contact information as you would like.
If you DO NOT want to share your name or contact information in the Directory, click “Ask Me Later”.
If you DO want to have your name listed in the Directory, check the box next to the data you would like to share, then click “Join Directory”.
Note: You will still have view access to the Directory even if you choose not to share your name and information.We would love for this to be an up to date picture directory so please add a photo to your profile if you feel comfortable doing so.
Giving on the Church Center App
Open the Church Center app.
Click on “Give”, along the bottom of the screen.
Enter the amount you would like to give then click “Next”.
Donation Setup
Choose the fund you want your tithe/offering to go to under FUND.
Choose FREQUENCY
Add a payment method.
NOTE: You may also choose to cover the processing fee.Click “Give” to submit your donation.
Church Center automatically creates a donor profile for you after you donate to your church the first time. You can log in to your donor profile to update payment methods or recurring frequency, view your donation history, access tax statements, and set communication preferences.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESS VIA COMPUTER
To access your Profile:
Click on “Login”
Choose to login by either entering your mobile phone number or your email address.
A 6-digit code will be sent to your phone or email, enter it when prompted.

Click on the profile you want to log in under.
It will ask you for your email address if you don’t already have one listed
Click on “Profile” to verify your contact information.
In Profile, click on “Edit” to update any information.
If we have an email address for you, we will send you an invitation to opt in to the online Directory.

Giving on Planning Center
To give using the Church Center website, go to trinluth.churchcenter.com. Church Center will also be accessible from the Trinity Lutheran website at trinluth.org/give.
Click on “Login”

To access giving history and review giving information, click on “Profile” then “My Giving”.
